A contact center is also referred as an interaction center with client and call center or e-contact center is a central point from which all customer care units are handled. These contact centers have one or more online call centers but other customers may be interacted. This includes:

  • E-mail newsletters,

  • Website inquires,

  • Postal mail catalogs and information regarding in store purchasing.

Inbound Contact center is a part of CRM (customer relationship management).
